Building a newsletter
In the iDashboard Campaigns area, select the Newsletters & Magazines tab in the left hand side.
From here, you can select and edit an existing newsletter campaign that you've already created, or click the New Magazine or Newsletter Series link at the top of the screen.
You are then presented with all of the Newsletter and eMagazine templates that iProperty has set up for you. Click an appropriate email newsletter template and get ready to edit it.
Creating the content
Within your newsletter template, you can edit the text content with full formatting controls such as font size, bolding, italics and the ability to add in hyperlinks.
You can also add in and position images that you can upload from your computer.
Discuss with iProperty what your requirements are for a standard newsletter templates - common requests are latest sold property images, mortgage interest rate tables and areas to introduce new agency staff.
When you have finished creating your general newsletter message, you can save this is a campaign to reuse over and over again.
Broadcast it!
Your campaign template can now be configured for an email broadcast.
Click "Edit Series" - this is where you can select a group of subscribers from your database whom you'd like to receive updates.
Adding contacts to your subscribers list is easy - you can import them in from existing iDashboard groups such as Buyers or Renters, or bring subscribers in from those who opted in on your website. This automated campaign functionality really is extremely powerful.
